PlusTV, officially Digi TV Plus Oy, has been Finnish paytv operator for antenna households since 2006. With approx. 250 000 subscribers and 35% market share PlusTV is the largest paytv operator on the Finnish market.
From 2009 the majority shareholder of PlusTV has been Nordic mediaoperator Teracom Group. The Teracom Group owns and operates digital terrestrial networks in Denmark and Sweden with paytv services on three markets: Sweden (Boxer TV-Access AB), Denmark (Boxer TV A/S) and Finland (PlusTV). With 1,2 million paytv subscribers Teracom Group is the second largest terrestrial network paytv operator in the world. On the 29th of August 2012 Teracom Group became the sole owner of PlusTV.
The CEO for PlusTV is Jyri Ratia (since 2010) and the CEO for the Teracom Group is Åsa Sundberg (starting the 1st of December 2012) and the chairman of the Teracom Group Board will be Johan Hallberg (till the Teracom Annual General Meeting in April 2013).
PlusTV offers currently 20 most popular domestic and international paytv channels. In DTT network the MTV3 paytv-channels MTV3 MAX, MTV3 MAX Sport 1, MTV3 MAX Sport 2, MTV3 Juniori, MTV3 Leffa, MTV3 Fakta are exclusively offered by PlusTV.
The number of employees working at Pasila office is currently 32.
In 2011 the turnover of the company was 62M€.
